"Setup took longer than I planned"
drip does seem like it could be really useful, but getting started was more confusing than I expected. I had set aside time thinking I’d get everything up and running quickly, and that plan basically went out the window. There’s a lot thrown at you at once, and I ended up clicking around way more than I wanted to just to figure out what to do next. It did start making more sense after a while, but the whole setup process could definitely be smoother.

"Easy automations that actually meet my standards"
I’ve been using Drip for our email flows, it’s been a lot smoother than I expected. I’m picky about tools like this because I don’t want automations that feel messy or half-baked, and Drip has held up well. The builder is easy to follow, even when I’m setting up splits, tags, and different paths for customers. I like being able to see who did what and send follow-ups without having to handle everything manually. It did take me a little time to get comfortable with it, but now it saves me a ton of time. Overall, I’m really happy with it.

"It works, but I keep running into little issues"
Drip is kind of fine, I guess, when everything is running the way it should. But the reliability has been frustrating enough that I can’t fully relax using it. Pages can be slow, emails sometimes take longer than expected, and there have been a few times where updates just didn’t show up right away. Support has been decent, so I’ll give them that, but I don’t really want to keep double-checking whether the platform actually did what I set up. I’m still using it for now, but mostly because it gets the job done enough, not because I’m thrilled with it...

"I felt embarrassed by how badly my campaigns went"
I tried using Drip for a few email campaigns, it turned into a mess. My segments weren’t updating the way I expected, emails were going out late, and support took way too long to get back to me. I felt kind of embarrassed because I’d already told people the campaigns were ready to go, and then everything kept messing up. After wasting a few days trying to fix it, I just gave up.
"SMS works, but it feels kinda limited"
It does the texting part fine, so that’s good, but getting it set up was a little clunky for me. Like, it works, just not in the smoothest way, if that makes sense...
"Deliverability could be more consistent"
Some of my emails go through just fine, but every now and then a few end up in spam, which feels unnecessary. It’s not a dealbreaker or anything, but I do wish the deliverability was a bit more reliable...

"Really easy to get around"
I started using Drip a few months ago, i was a little nervous at first because I’m not the most techy person. But once I got in there and started setting up emails, it felt straightforward, and making small edits didn’t turn into a whole stressful thing.
After spending a little time clicking through the menus, everything started to make sense. Now I can usually find what I need without hunting around forever, and it’s simple enough that using it day to day feels easy...

"Decent templates, but I wanted more control"
The designs looked good at first, so I figured I’d be able to make them fit my style quickly. But editing them took more clicks than I expected, and some of the blocks felt kind of stiff when I tried to adjust them. It works fine overall, I just wish it was easier for me to tweak the templates the way I want

"Reports that actually make sense"
I like that the reports are really easy to follow. I can check my email results quickly without having to click around forever, which is what I want most of the time. Like, just show me how things did so I can move on with my day.

"Took a while to get help"
I reached out to support thinking it would be a quick fix, but it ended up taking days to hear back. When they finally responded, I still didn’t really get the help I needed, which was frustrating.

"Fine, if you enjoy paying extra for the basics"
Drip worked okay for my small store, so I’ll give it that. But after a while, the price was just hard to justify, especially when a lot of the actually useful features seemed to be sitting behind yet another upgrade. Support was decent enough, but not exactly life-changing. I ended up finding cheaper tools that did what I needed without making me feel like I was being politely nudged to spend more every five minutes.

"Works well with our tools, just a couple little hangups"
drip has been straightforward to hook up with our store and the other tools we use. The Shopify setup was easy, and Zapier covers most of the random extra stuff we need, so that part’s been helpful. I did have to click around for a while to find a few settings, which was a little annoying, but nothing major. Overall the integrations do what we need, even if a few parts could be smoother, I guess.

"Segmentation was a total mess"
The segmentation just didn’t work right. The personalization was all over the place, and the wrong people kept ending up in the wrong segments. Annoying, and kind of a dumb mess to deal with
